I’m so happy you’re here! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC) in the state of Texas and am the founder/owner of Untangled Truths PLLC.

Is there something that you use, say, think, or do, that you wish you didn't? Have you attended traditional therapy before, but still feel like you just can't get it right? Do you feel like you "have all the tools," but struggle to integrate them? Do you wish you could just STOP using, saying, thinking, or doing, all of those problematic things? Would you believe me if I told you that the thing you have been waiting for is you? Not the one that knows what to do; but, the one that is curious and compassionate. It is possible for you to heal and be your authentic self.

Are you wondering what I meant by “it is possible for you to heal and be your authentic self”? Of course you are—look at you, already curious! I am trained in various modalities of therapy and lean on techniques that I’ve learned from all of them; however, my primary approaches are Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), most often in combination. Why? Recent studies suggest that these modalities are able to utilize the brain’s ability to heal itself by healing original wounds, actively creating new neuropathways, leading to an improved and more authentic version of ourselves that can function within the business of life and relationships.

I do not believe in a “one size fits most” approach to therapy, so I will rely on your openness and willingness to remain curious and we will operate at the speed of trust. We will individualize your treatment experience.
