My name is Brooke Baker and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of experience in the field. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and completed my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington.

My career has been rooted in supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as working with youth and teens facing mental health challenges and crises. Additionally, I have extensive experience in school social work, spanning a decade in roles that involve working closely with children, teens, and families.

A significant turning point in my life occurred seven years ago when I became a mom. This transformative experience reshaped my perspective on mental health and deepened my passion for supporting other moms. I’ve come to understand how motherhood can profoundly alter our sense of self and the expectations we hold. The intersection of societal pressures, social norms, family history, and personal expectations creates a unique and often overwhelming journey for many mothers.

Today, my focus is on maternal mental health, where I am dedicated to walking alongside moms through every stage of their journey. I am committed to offering empathetic support and practical strategies to help navigate the complexities of motherhood through therapy.

If you are seeking support or simply want to talk, I am here to listen and assist when you are ready to begin this important conversation. I am looking forward to connecting with you!
